The staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite the carpark being full within the building there was an outdoor carpark 50m away for $35/night (this is heavily patrolled by rangers - several cars had tickets). We didn't try the breakfast but it looked to be continental. In any case there's an excellent cafe called Haus next door if you want something more substantial. Room was tiny and didn't have a wardrobe, but we were only there 1 night so it didn't matter too much. I wouldn't like to be there long term though. Shower was amazing, and everything was clean and tidy. The aircon was sufficient for us, we like our room cold. The location is a short walk to all facilities of Olympic Park and there's a Woolies metro plus a few good restaurants and a BWS within 200m.

We stayed at Ibis budget for a night to go to the Eras tour. The place was packed with people coming and going and checking in and the staff remained calm and friendly and were handing out ice blocks and goodie bags. It could’ve been utter chaos but the staff on the ball and made check in as smooth as could be. Considering the accommodation is budget, as long as you don’t expect 5 star amenities you will be fine. The toilet cubicle was quite cramped in the family room so you won’t have a good time if you’re a lager framed traveller. The air con worked, the shower was hot and beds comfortable.

If you book a budget hotel and expect all the bells and whistles you will be disappointed. We knew exactly what we were getting and were very happy with the room and facilities. Location is excellent for Qudos Arena and Accor Stadium and close to public transport. There is a cafe and convenience store just below.

The included breakfast of cereal and toast with pancakes (and fruit) available was great. Coffee was excellent. We parked nearby outside for $35 for the duration of our stay - very pleased!

I loved the location - Olympic Park - very close to the aquatic centre and transport links. The concierge was so helpful when my phone screen stopped working and had to be replaced on New Years Eve! He located the nearest open phone repair shop and gave me use of the hotel's phone to contact them. And then called a taxi. He was a life saver!
